Free Bets on Football

While doing some research into the world of online betting in sports, i found a site that made an interesting claim, that free betting sites were offering the chance to bet for free based on loyalty but it seems that they failed to address the sites that are offering a free bet the moment that you sign up to the site?
Below is the article that they wrote:

"As the biggest global sport, with dozens of professional leagues throughout the world, football is an ideal game with which to begin experiencing the world of betting.  There are so many competitions that it may seem daunting initially when trying to decide what to bet on.

Every team in every country has a core group of supporters who will have a good idea of how likely it is that their team will win, lose or draw, and can thus bet accordingly.  Doing research on a team’s form over a previous season or even just the most recent few games is a sensible way to get a feel for how to bet on the outcome, either during a single match or over the course of a month or a whole season.

To help build up the betting bankroll it is worth checking with the various online and offline bookmakers to see what level of free bets they offer.  A free bet is a bonus generally given to a new customer, and is generally proportionate to the level of the bettor's initial deposit.  Free bets are usually for new customers, but some sites also offer free bets as a loyalty bonus.  Getting a free bet with one betting provider does not stop a customer opening accounts with other companies as well, so there are plenty of opportunities to go for a range of options."
